Old Town Moorpark

The historic center of the city runs along High Street, still lined with the pepper trees planted by Robert Poindexter, who mapped and platted the original 1900 townsite; the district today holds the city-run High Street Arts Center and Moorpark's revitalized restaurant row.

Peach Hill

A family-oriented tract south of the Arroyo Simi, built out largely after 1980 alongside neighboring Mountain Meadows; Peach Hill Park on Peach Hill Road anchors the area, a short walk from Moorpark High School and Arroyo Vista Community Park.

Mountain Meadows

Also south of the Arroyo Simi and bordering Peach Hill, this tract is part of the more than three-quarters of Moorpark's housing stock built after 1980; Mountain Meadows Park and Moorpark High School both sit within the neighborhood.

Campus Park

Named for neighboring Moorpark College, this tract of single-family homes and townhomes was built mostly between 1970 and 1999, making it one of the city's older postwar subdivisions.

Country Club Estates

A gated golf community on the far north side, developed starting in 2002 around the Moorpark Country Club's 27 holes; the tract runs roughly between Palmer Drive, Walnut Canyon Road, Nelson Road and Grimes Canyon Road.

Moorpark Highlands

A north-side master-planned community that broke ground in 2006, built out in phases first by Pardee Homes and KB Home and later by Toll Brothers' luxury Pinnacle at Moorpark Highlands tract; the gated Meridian Hills and Shenandoah enclaves sit within its boundaries.
