The neighbourhoods

Where Moreno Valley actually breaks down, in the desk's own words.

Full neighbourhood file →

Sunnymead

One of the three original unincorporated communities that merged to form Moreno Valley in 1984; originally surveyed as an orchard tract in 1912, with a post office established in 1928.

Moreno

The original 1880s townsite founded by Frank E.

Edgemont

The third founding community, subdivided for poultry ranches starting in 1923 with development beginning in earnest around 1940.

Rancho Belago

The eastern half of the city, formally named by a 2007 city council resolution and covering the newer 92555 ZIP.

Sunnymead Ranch

Planned community association of roughly 2,677 homes built around a lake and clubhouse.

Hidden Springs

Backs onto the Box Springs Mountain Reserve on the city's rustic north side — wildland-adjacent exposure worth flagging directly.
