Full neighbourhood file →Officially designated by Governor George Deukmejian on June 17, 1988, bounded by Westminster Boulevard, Bolsa Avenue, Magnolia Street and Euclid Street — the commercial and cultural core of the largest Vietnamese community outside Vietnam.
Developer Frank Jao opened this 150,000-square-foot center in 1987 as the first Vietnamese-American shopping mall in the country; it remains Little Saigon's central gathering point.
Home to the Vietnam War Memorial, an 11-foot bronze by sculptor Tuan Nguyen depicting an American and South Vietnamese soldier, dedicated April 27, 2003 after a process begun by Councilman Frank Fry in 1997.
