Foothill Ranch

Annexed into Lake Forest in 2000, this 1990s master-planned community backs up to the Santa Ana Mountains foothills.

Portola Hills

A hillside district annexed into Lake Forest in 2000, built around canyon terrain near Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park.

Baker Ranch

2010s master-planned community built out by Shea Homes and Toll Brothers with a resort-style HOA.

El Toro (historic core)

Lake Forest's original downtown, predating the city's 1991 incorporation.
